In the first week of taking on the challenge of P90X2, what can you expect? Expect your ab’s and your core to be sore. You won’t just feel it. It’ll hit like a truck. SO what’s the benefit of feeling that brutal? The benefit comes when those moves don’t produce nerve wracking soreness. They produce that afterglow of knowing you are looking good when you cross a mirror. There will be no doubt. The work in P90X2 is a heavy load of intense strength training. Expect to rumble rolling before you go to bed. It helps take the edge off.
Day one is the introduction to rumble rolling and strengthening that core. Day 2 is recovery and mobility. As with most rumbling, foam rollers, or whatever equipment you may be lacking in there are modified solutions provided in the DVD’s. You won’t be totally lost without key equipment but it helps to have the right stuff. Plyocide is totally different than the plyocide version in P90X.
