You can get this information from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) online.

The (FD & C Act) provide guidelines, which require food sold in supermarkets and other retail stores. For the first time in the United States, there was a specific directive on what is on the food labels and definitions for certain foods, food groups and how the containers are filled, together with guidelines to the events on the show, what is fresh, freezing, packaging for the benefit of consumers.
